The median annual wage for all construction occupations was $43,610 in May 2016, according to the BLS, with construction laborers making $32,230, flooring installers and tile and marble setters making $39,150, drywall and ceiling tile installers and tapers making $42,280, construction and building inspectors making $58,480, and $89,300 for construction managers.
